Traveling with a Camera
Last June 23, i attended a free basic photography workshop at Homebuddies, 4F Glorietta. It was conducted by no other than Jay Alonzo, considered as one of the country's leading photography-workshop instructor. He shared some tips on how to take a better travel pictures to aspiring travel photographers. He said "Travel photography is not about just taking pictures of a travel spot.
Through your desire to capture images that will fulfill your craving to
express yourself through photography,or even to simply preserve for
posterity your travel experience, you get to know more about a place,
its past, where it is heading to, the people and their way of life,
enrichen our experience and give a broader view of the world, and
possibly gain new friends."
After the workshop, we are given 15 minutes to roam around Glorietta and apply what we have learned. To spice things a little bit, they will be giving some prizes to top 5 pictures who can capture what Jay have though us. So first i went to Time Zone, i want to capture a real, fun moment of happy people playing around Time Zone. Then after that i went down to 3F, while walking around and looking for my subject a saw a man sleeping in one of the noisest place in Glorietta, in Food Choices (maybe he's just so bored waiting for her wife doing some shopping) anyways, i instantly click my camera and made him my entry.

And big thanks to him, i got one of the prizes and i'm really proud of it. Btw, im not using any digital SLR or semi-PRO cams. i just used my every reliable A95 compact camera. Free workshop + Jay Alonzo + Canon goodies what more i can say. =)
